Who Can You Trust in 2017?

Proverbs 3:5-7

 Proverbs 3:5-7 . 5  Trust in the LORD with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding. 6  In all your ways acknowledge him, and he will make straight your paths. 7  Be not wise in your own eyes; fear the LORD, and turn away from evil.

 

In 2017 You Can Only Trust God and Have a Healthy Distrust of Self and others

 

  1. You Cannot Trust Yourself or Anyone Else Any Father Than God Says You Can.

 

        “Do not lean on your own understanding”

  1. Does not mean - “Don’t think!”

“Trust in the Lord with all your heart…in all your ways acknowledge Him”

 

How do you trust the Lord with all your heart?

 

               “trust”

               “acknowledge”

 

  1. Point To God In Everything You Think And Do in 2017 and he Will Point You

 

               “and he will make straight your paths”

 

By being faithful in reading His Word        Ps 119:11             2 Tim 3:16-17

 

By being faithful in fervent daily prayer -   Danial 6:10  

 

By being with His people for weekly worship and fellowship and discipleship

               Acts 2:42-47                      Heb 10:25

 

By acknowledging Jesus Christ…

                              Isaiah 45:21-22

                              John 14:6
