Our Ministries

Acts 2:42 "And they devoted themselves to the apostles' teaching and fellowship, to the breaking of bread, and the prayers."

In the spirit of the early church, Living Hope offers various opportunities for teaching, fellowship, and prayer.

Teaching

Teaching takes place in almost all of our ministries: Sunday School, Bible Studies, Youth Group, Men's and Women's Ministries, and Small Groups.  See the descriptions of these activities as accessed from the drop-down menu.

Fellowship

Fellowship occurs in all of the above teaching activities.  We also have a Fellowship Team which organizes all church functions like the Easter Dinner, Harvest Dinner (October), Reformation Party (dinner and costume party in October or November), and Christmas Dinner.  The Fellowship Team also organizes meals to be delivered to ill/grieving members and conducts a monthly Food Bank for those in need.  The Food Bank is conducted under the oversight of the Deacons, who also take responsibility for dispersing emergency funds from the Deacons' Fund offering to needs as they arise.

Prayer

Living Hope is a praying community.  The prayer coordinator (Marcy Scott) or the Pastor communicate urgent prayer concerns by e-mail and a telephone chain.  We regularly gather for prayer on Wednesday nights and in small groups.  We have a weekly prayer list included in our worship folder to guide the prayers of our people.
