Prelude

Opening Song – O How Good It Is

Announcements

Gospel Greeting – Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord. 1 Timothy 1:2

Call to Worship Song – NTH 734 – Gloria Patri

Call to Worship – Oh sing to the LORD a new song, for he has done marvelous things! His right hand and his holy arm have worked salvation for him. The LORD has made known his salvation; he has revealed his righteousness in the sight of the nations. He has remembered his steadfast love and faithfulness to the house of Israel. All the ends of the earth have seen the salvation of our God. Psalm 98:1-3

Prayer of Adoration & Invocation

Hymn of Praise – NTH 529 – Love Divine, All Loves Excelling

Reading of the Law – Exodus 20:1-17

(Silent Confession of Sin)

Corporate Confession of Sin – Almighty God, we confess we have broken your commandments. We have sinned by selfishness, worldliness, unbelief and pride. We have not loved our neighbor as ourselves, and we have not walked humbly with you. Forgive us our sins and blot out our debts according to your tender mercies, according to your loving kindness. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus your Son. Give us a humble and contrite heart that we might forgive others as you have forgiven us. We ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon – Surely he has borne our griefs and carried our sorrows; yet we esteemed him stricken, smitten by God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions; he was crushed for our iniquities; upon him was the chastisement that brought us peace, and with his stripes we are healed. All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the Lord has laid on him the iniquity of us all. Isa. 53:4-6

Doxology – NTH 731

Exhortation to Give – So then, as we have opportunity, let us do good to everyone, and especially to those who are of the household of faith. Gal. 6:10
