Announcements

Gospel Greeting – To the church of God . . . to those sanctified in Christ Jesus, called to be saints together with all those who in every place call upon the name of our Lord Jesus Christ, both their Lord and ours: Grace to you and peace from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.          1 Cor. 1:2-3

Call to Worship Song – Come and Sing Praises (Ascribe To The Lord)

Call to Worship – Make a joyful noise to the LORD, all the earth! Serve the LORD with gladness! Come into his presence with singing! Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.       Psalm 100:1-3

Prayer of Adoration & Invocation

Hymn of Praise – NTH 211 God Rest You Merry, Gentlemen

Reading of Law – Deuteronomy 5:1-21

(Silent Confession of Sin)

Corporate Confession of Sin – Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to your promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life, to the glory of your holy name. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon – “For even the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many.”        Mark 10:45

Exhortation to Give – Do not neglect to do good and to share what you have, for such sacrifices are pleasing to God.    Heb. 13:16
