Phil 2:14-18  Do all things without grumbling or disputing

Seek to Conquer Complaining By Contemplating Your Privileges As a Child of God

 

1. You Must be Content and Agreeable To Have Joy

 

               Remember the purpose of this letter   Phil 1:25-26

 

                              Romans 15:4, 13

 

                              Phil 2:14

 

                              Complaining is…                                                           Phil 2:13

 

                              Arguing follows…                                          Numbers 11:1, 4-6

 

 

2. You Should be Content and Agreeable Because You Are a Child of God

 

               The child of Satan is naturally discontent and argumentative

 

                              Phil 2:15

 

               However when God’s children do so…

 

                              Phil 2:15

                              1 Cor 10:10

 

 

3. You Can Be Content and Agreeable By Contemplating Your Privileges.

 

               Take definite steps to nip complaining in the bud

 

               Then take you complaints to God at the Cross in the light of your privileges

 

                              You are complaining against God – Phil 2:13, Lam 3:37-38

 

                              You were lost and now and saved – Lam. 3:39-40

 

                              You area a witness with eternal influence - Phil 2:15-16

                             

                              You have an example – Phil 2:17-18

                             

                              You are on your way to heaven - Phil 16
