General Confession of Sin – Almighty God, we confess we have broken your commandments. We have sinned by selfishness, worldliness, unbelief and pride. We have not loved our neighbor as ourselves, and we have not walked humbly with you. Forgive us our sins and blot out our debts according to your tender mercies, according to your loving kindness. Cleanse us by the blood of Jesus your Son. Give us a humble and contrite heart that we might forgive others as you have forgiven us. We ask through Christ our Lord. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon – Christ redeemed us from the curse of the law by becoming a curse for us—for it is written, “Cursed is everyone who is hanged on a tree”—so that in Christ Jesus the blessing of Abraham might come to the Gentiles, so that we might receive the promised Spirit through faith.           Gal. 3:13-14

Announcements – Week of 9/27/2026

1. Tomorrow morning, Pre-Worship Prayer starts at 9 AM, followed by Sunday school for all ages at 9:30 in respective rooms.

2. Ben Sibley will be returning to exhort us from God’s word tomorrow morning!

3. On Tuesday morning, we will have Prayer for Revival at the church at 9 AM. All are welcome!

4. Wednesday evening Bible study and Kid's Club are at 7 PM, in respective rooms here at the church. All are encouraged to join for a time to study God’s word and prayer.

5. Thursday morning Ladies’ Bible Study will be starting a new study on The Attributes of God by A.W. Pink. This will take place at the church at 10 AM on Thursday, October 1st. The other fall dates include 10/15, 11/5, 11/19. All women are welcome to join! Please contact Andie Batten if you are looking to join.

6. Stephen and Jocelyn Maloney are hosting the 2nd annual Fireside Fellowship at their home. The first gathering will be held Friday, October 2nd at 6 PM. Please see the poster and sign-up sheets on the bulletin board for more information. Take a flyer to give to a friend/family. We’ll see you by the fire!

7. The next meeting for the Saturday Women’s Bible Study on Ephesians will be at 10 AM at the church on Saturday, October 3rd. One-off participants are welcome, please let Katie Batten know if you’re thinking you may attend!

8. Next Sunday, October 4th, Rev. Jeremiah Montgomery will be preaching!

9. Harvest Dinner – Everyone is invited to a fellowship meal on October 11th to thank the Lord of the harvest for providing for us abundantly, especially in His good gift of a new pastor! This will be his first Sunday with us as our pastor--let's celebrate! Please bring a main dish AND a side dish to share! Please use the sign-up sheet on the hallway bulletin board if you plan to attend. If you have any questions, please direct them to Andie Batten.

10. Saltshakers – If you would like to spend an evening to have fellowship and a meal with other folks from Living Hope, please use the sign-up sheet on the bulletin board to indicate your interest! October 11th is the last day to sign up for the November 7th gathering! You may contact Raymond Hayes ( ) with any questions or if you want to sign up via email.

11. The installation service of our new pastor, Rev. Larry Westerveld, will be here at Living Hope on Friday, October 23rd at 7 PM. Fellowship and refreshments to follow!

12. On Wednesday, October 28th, at 6 PM will be our Reformation Party. All ages are welcome! Invite your family, neighbors, friends, grandchildren, etc! A meal will be served followed by games that teach the truths of the Reformation. (Remember to wear long pants for the “knee race”). Please use the SIGN-UP sheet so we can get a fairly accurate count!
