  1 Corinthians 7:10-11  To the married I give this charge (not I, but the Lord): the wife should not separate from her husband 11  (but if she does, she should remain unmarried or else be reconciled to her husband), and the husband should not divorce his wife.

               I give this charge (not I, but the Lord)

 

               Before the Fall there were rules:

 

                              Genesis 2:20-25  

 

               After the Fall there were more rules:

  1. God Restores Marriage

 

               God knows conflict will happen and lead to separation –

                 

                              “but if she does”  -  1 John 2:1

 

               God requires reconcilitaiton – “be reconciled”

 

               God Provides Reconciling grace
