“Joy In Knowing God Finishes Well”

Philippians 1:6 - And I am sure of this, that he who began a good work in you will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.

 

Find Joy In the Sure Fact That Your Salvation is God’s Visible and Lasting Work

 

1. Your Salvation Is God’s Work -        “he who began a good work in you”

 

               Everything is God’s work

 

                              John 5:17  

 

               What is this specific “beginning’ Work….

 

                              Romans 8:29-30

                              Eph 2:8-9

                                            

               Therefore the beginning work is….

 

                              1 Peter 1:3 & 23

                              Acts 16:14

              

2. God’s Work Looks Like God’s Work.- “he who began a good work in you

 

               God’s work is noticeably…

 

                              Ephesians 2:10   The Sure Fact – “I am sure of this”…

 

               If there is a good work… there is also a bad work…not a work of God

 

                              James 2:17

 

3. God’s Work Lasts Like God’s Work - “will bring it to completion at the day of Jesus Christ.”

 

               What God starts, God finishes!
