Grant us true repentance that, dead to sin, we may be raised up by faith in Your life-giving Gospel. Grant us your Holy Spirit that we may be ever thankful and live a faithful and godly life in your service; through Jesus Christ, our Lord. Amen.

Jesus’ Gospel words are true and worthy of trust:

  1. 1. As confirmed by the fact of His empty tomb. (Luke 24:1-4)
  2. 2. As the angels proclaim the meaning of His empty tomb. (Luke 24:5-8)
  3. 3. As the women go and tell the apostles about His empty tomb. (Luke 24:9-12)

Prayer of Application

Song of Response – Psalm 16 (Trinity Psalter)

Benediction – Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant, equip you with everything good that you may do his will, working in us that which is pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be glory forever and ever. Amen. Hebrews 13:20-21
