Opening Song – Oh Lord, Our Lord, How Majestic Is your Name

Gospel Greeting – Grace, mercy, and peace from God the Father and Christ Jesus our Lord.        1 Timothy 1:2

Call to Worship Hymn – NTH 12 – Exalt the Lord, His Praise Proclaim

Call to Worship – Oh, the depth of the riches and wisdom and knowledge of God! How unsearchable are his judgments and how inscrutable his ways! “For who has known the mind of the Lord, or who has been his counselor?” “Or who has given a gift to him that he might be repaid?” For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.  – Romans 11:33-36

Prayer of Adoration & Invocation

Hymn of Praise – NTH 122 – God, All Nature Sings Thy Glory

Reading of the Law – Luke 10:25-28

(Silent Confession of Sin)

General Confession of Sin – Almighty and most merciful Father, we have erred and strayed from your ways like lost sheep. We have followed too much the devices and desires of our own hearts. We have offended against your holy laws. We have left undone those things which we ought to have done; and we have done those things which we ought not to have done; and there is no health in us. But you, O Lord, have mercy upon us, miserable offenders. Spare those, O God, who confess their faults. Restore those who are penitent, according to your promises declared unto mankind in Christ Jesus our Lord. And grant, O most merciful Father, for his sake, that we may hereafter live a godly, righteous and sober life, to the glory of your holy name. Amen.

Assurance of Pardon – Let the wicked forsake his way, and the unrighteous man his thoughts; let him return to the LORD, that he may have compassion on him, and to our God, for he will abundantly pardon.         Isa. 55:7

Exhortation to Give – Ascribe to the LORD the glory due his name; bring an offering, and come into his courts!         Psalm 96:8

Collection with Prayer (Offertory: NTH 111 – This Is My Father’s World)

Doxology – NTH 733
