ANNOUNCEMENTS – Week of December 20, 2020

1. There will be NO Wednesday evening activities this week AND NO Wednesday evening activities on December 30th. The Adult Bible Study and Kids Club will resume again on January 6, 2021. The Youth Group is on hiatus until further notice.

2. Next Sunday, December 27th, the will be NO Adult or Youth Sunday School.

3. All musicians participating in the Christmas Program, Sunday 12/20 are asked to arrive by 9:30am for practice.

4. Our annual Christmas program will be Sunday, December 20th. THEN, following the Christmas program, there will be a church wide Christmas Dinner here at the church. Special precautionary procedures will be in place. Hand Sanitizer and gloves will be available at the beginning of the buffet line, and we require that people wear masks to go through the line.

5. We will be having our annual Christmas Eve Candlelight service at 6:30pm, Thursday December 24th here at the church. We hope you will plan to attend.

6. On Sunday, December 27th, Jason and Abbie Garvey, Brian Philips and Nathan Batten will be making their public profession of faith and will be joining Living Hope as new communicant members.

7. Sunday evening, December 27, 2020 Mark Maloney, Jr. will be leading a discussion on the Westminster Confession of Faith after watching the John Gerstner video on the WCF. The plan is to meet at 6:00pm on the second and fourth Sunday of the month, here at the church. Please touch base with Mark for more information. Everyone is invited!

8. Looking to the future, our annual Congregational and Corporation Meeting will be held on Wednesday, January 27, 2021 at 7:00pm. Please put this on your calendar. We ask ALL members of LHOPC to attend. Those who write reports for the annual meeting need to do so and get them to Katie Batten by January 13, 2021.

9. One last note. For those who were not able to attend the Corporation Meeting last week. The motion to sell our land passed by a unanimous vote. Closing is set for this coming week.
