ANNOUNCEMENTS – Week of 06/05/2022

  1. 1. On Tuesday morning at 7:45 – 8:30AM, Pastor Phelps will be leading Prayer for Revival here at the church (all are welcome to join in). There will be NO Outreach Bible Study this week. Upcoming public evangelism efforts for the summer will be announced soon. 
  2. 2. Our Wednesday evening Bible Study and Prayer time begins at 7:00PM. This week, June 8, we will be studying Romans 13:11-14. The Zoom notice will go out on Wednesday afternoon. This will be the final Wednesday evening Bible Study until September.
  3. 3. On June 15th we will have an end of the year Ice Cream Social. EVERYONE IS INVITED. Even if you have not participated in the regular Wednesday evening activities, we still encourage you to come out for this special event. PLEASE sign up today or next week, on the sheet in the hall so we know how much Ice Cream, toppings, etc. we need to have on hand.
  4. 4. The first Women’s Fellowship will be on Wednesday, June 22nd. The women gather at church for a time of fellowship, desert. A short devotional will be presented from the book "A Place to Belong: Learning to Love the Local Church", by Megan Hill. This starts at 6:30 p.m.  Come and bring a friend for a very enjoyable time out. Please sign up on the sheet in the hallway.
  5. 5. The Baby Bottle Giving Campaign to support the Bright Hope Crisis Pregnancy Center ends on 6/19/2022 (Father’s Day). Please pick your Baby Bottle today. They are on the table in the hallway.
  6. 6. As we mentioned last week, Kristen Cornell will be serving with CERT, going to Moldova to work with Ukrainian refugees on a Medical and Dental Mission (CERT = Christian Emergency Relief Teams International). She needs to submit her final “payment” by the end of this week. If you are interested in supporting her, use this link to donate online.

  1. 7. Graduates – we need to know which families have someone graduating from High School, College, or Post Graduate programs. Please let Pastor Phelps know by next Sunday, June 12th.
  2. 8. As a reminder, Pastor Phelps will be taking his “day off” on Monday’s. As such, we want to protect that day for him and his family to get some refreshment after his usual busy weekend. We ask that, unless it is an emergency, moving forward, we all refrain from asking to meet with, or talk with Pastor Phelps on Monday. Thank you.
